Gaining International Ground
On September 24, 2017, Chris long boarded the 10K of the IWB Basel Marathon through the streets of Basel, Switzerland. With a completed time of 1 hour 1 minute and 17 seconds, it was a huge change in scenery for Chris doing a race in Switzerland. Historic buildings (some up to 600 years old) and cobblestone paths covered the route that was taken by over 1,800 participants and over 4,000 spectators watched the event. Chris happened to draw the attention of local newspapers, photographers and a local television station, TeleBasel, which he got an interview with. Check out the post on our Facebook - If I Can .
